IQ Lawsuit Response
IntelliQuick Delivery embodies and defends the American freedoms we hold so dear.
People who choose to join IntelliQuick Delivery (IQ) as delivery driver agents enjoy the freedom to work as independent contractors and manage their own business.
IQ provides a better solution to the marketplace because we offer more opportunities for independent contractors to grow their individual business, achieve greater success and foster the American spirit of competition that makes everyone better. The sky’s the limit when you find and fill a niche in the marketplace!
Although many benefit from the role of an independent contractor, a small group of IQ’s independent contractors is challenging this relationship. This small group has retained a law firm to file an IntelliQuick class action lawsuit. They’ve chosen a more litigious route with this IQ lawsuit simply because they have not achieved success as an independent business. Through IQ, these drivers have had every opportunity to take their slice of the American dream but have instead chosen to file an IQ lawsuit. From the very beginning, IQ drivers were provided the option to become either an independent contractor or to apply to become employed by IQ as a corporate employee. When they opted to become an independent contractor, each person entered into a signed agreement following a complete orientation of the contracted position.
An independent contractor has the opportunity to choose to service easy routes in daytime hours or middle of the night heavier loads. Individuals have the freedom to determine their preferred way to work up the ladder of the industry. It’s the American way.
Not only is this good for workers, IQ’s opportunities also benefit the economy, because IQ provides greater employment and growth opportunities. In this free competitive marketplace, IQ keeps costs down across the board for its independent contractors, suppliers, vendors, partners, customers, etc., thus making the IntelliQuick class action lawsuit a debased claim by those who sought to prosper with the IQ lawsuit versus the traditional path of hard work and honest win/win discussions to leverage income opportunities by working faster, better and smarter than the competition.
One of the hallmarks of a successful business is offering a complete range of solutions to meet any type of customer need, including anticipating what those needs will be. These needs can vary depending on the time of day, the item or load type to be delivered, method of delivery and location. That’s why offering both employed drivers and independent driver agents is so important.
The American dream is among our most prized freedoms – freedom to build businesses and grow them. That’s precisely what IQ has and continues to accomplish. In just 15 years, IQ’s well respected business practices have steadily built the company into one of the largest independent delivery/courier service in the Southwest, and growing. With more than 250 uniformed and credentialed delivery driver agents and a national affiliated network, IQ is able to offer fulfillment of any local delivery or logistics need in the Southwestern U.S. with warehouse, fulfillment and cross docking operations in Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas and Albuquerque, Denver, Chicago, Reno and Salt Lake City. And they’re continuing to grow.
IQ was created specifically to establish a new standard for reliability and customer service in local deliveries and last mile courier services. The creativity of entrepreneurs is needed to offer complete diversified solutions to the market. Before IQ, no one else had combined state-of-the-art computer and communications technology with the lessons learned from the rise of national express companies in order to optimize customer service. IQ has become the “High Touch – High Tech” logistics partner of choice in the Southwest. They have made the investment necessary to deliver the industry’s best practices and employ the best technology to ensure rock-solid reliability for our customers.
In addition to providing employment options for qualified driver agents, IQ nurtures its driver partners, and provides many opportunities for advancement and further training in the industry. When IQ cares about the team, members (whether they are independent contractors or employees) provide optimal care and customer service to its clients.
All claims represented by the plaintiffs in the IntelliQuick lawsuit go completely against everything IQ stands in our staunch support of the American dream. IQ empowers the American worker, helps the spirit of entrepreneurialism continue to grow and creates faster, better, smarter service that benefits everyone. The American dream is taking control of our own destiny, which leads to resourcefulness, growth and innovation that together serve as the backbone of this great nation.
